Farmers Market Week is Here!
Ag Secretary Sonny Perdue, from the USDA, has proclaimed
Aug. 6-12 to be National Farmers Market Week. This is the 18th year USDA has
supported local producers by encouraging families to meet, and buy from,
farmers and vendors at their local market.
This annual event, sponsored by the USDA, highlights the important role farmers
markets play in our nation's food system. And we invite you to join the

access affordable, healthy produce, and support family farmers who
