REFERRAL INCENTIVE! We now offer a $50.00 credit towards your childcare if you refer someone who signs their children up for our childcare programs. Call or come see us for more details.
Our Child Care programs are licensed by the State of Utah and reviewed on an annual basis by licensing inspectors. We complete thorough background checks on all teachers and volunteers. Teachers receive 20 hours of annual training to update their skills and improve their interaction with your children. We provide meals and snacks through a regulated and nationally recognized food program. Registrations are taken on a first-come, first-serve basis and waiting lists are taken to fill vacancies that become available. Please call (385) 468-1715 for program availability.
Child Care programs are closed on the following holidays and tuition credits are not available for these days:
Our Preschool program provides well-rounded learning in developmentally appropriate experiences for children ages 2 and 3. We strive to promote a child's social, physical, emotional, language, cognitive, and creative development in a positive, stimulating and nurturing environment.
Emphasis is placed on active, hands-on learning experiences in which children are able to learn by interacting with their environment through a balance of educational and play activities. Self-esteem is developed through positive, supportive interactions with teachers and volunteers. Curiosity and a love of learning are fostered as children explore and discover through a variety of developmentally appropriate activities. Creativity is encouraged by providing many different open-ended learning activities with a variety of materials.
In addition to having time each day to choose individual and small-group learning activities, your child will spend time each day in a whole-group setting involved in activities such as music, art, story time, large-muscle development and outdoor play.
We provide preschool students breakfast, lunch and an afternoon snack each day. Your child will also be assigned a "cubbie" to keep their personal belongings in. Preschool children may bring a special blanket from home for rest time. We ask that you do not send toys, candy, gum, or money from home in order to prevent lost or broken personal items and to prevent conflicts between children.
So as to protect the health of all children at the Center, we are not able to admit children who are ill. If your child has a communicable disease, a persistent cough, runny nose, sore throat, fever, diarrhea or any other condition that would prevent them from participating in normal daily activities, please keep them at home.
