Opened in June 1997, the Acord Ice Center
is a year-round, indoor ice skating facility with an outdoor seasonal pool (Centennial Pool), located in the heart of West Valley City, just east of the West Valley Fitness Center.

2015 Learn to Skate Sessions  

Tuesday Evenings: May 5, 12, 19, 26, June 2 (5 weeks)
5:30-6:00 pm Lesson, 6:00-6:15 Practice or
6:00-6:15 pm Practice, 6:15-6:45 pm am Lesson

$40 for a 5 week session

Acord offers themed Birthday Party packages during Public Ice Sessions.  Birthday party is held in our decorated conference room for two hours and we offer three themes: Balloons, Princess and Sports.  Party includes food, decorations and admissions/skates to our public skate session.

We offer many classes for your different needs.

Learn to Skate All ages, including adults can learn to skate. Registration is now available.  Space still available!!

Learn to Play Hockey  Children 5-13 years old can learn to play hockey.

Adult Learn to Play Anyone 14 years or older can learn to play hockey.

Stick and Puck

Sledge Hockey A Paralympic sport for anyone that may have lower-body impairments or prefer not to skate. Individuals sit in a sledge seat, with ice blades below the seat and propel themselves across the ice using picks at the end of the hockey sticks.
