Take this introductory course to learn how and when to use the cardiovascular equipment and weight machines.
You will be shown hot to adjust the settings, understand the principles behind weight lifting and proper body mechanics and how to start a training program.
You will also receive a workout logbook to get started!
Preregistration and parental signature required.

Yoga for relaxation which includes stretches and yogic breathing, leaving the body restored and soothes stress.
A free form yoga style that is great for increasing flexibility. It includes spine warmers (namaskars), and variations on poses such as laterals, twists, asymmetries and partial postures in order to access all the parts of the body and leave the student feeling unblocked and free.

Get up and go in this 60 minute workout tailored to include easy to follow, low-impact movement, muscular strength and endurance, flexibility and range of motion exercises. A variety of equipment and tools will be used as well as a chair for support and modifications as needed.
40 minutes of Pilates mat work with an emphasis on core strength, muscular balance, breathing and flexibility combined with 20 minutes of Yoga.
You must be at least 16 years old to use our fitness room and equipment. However, with additional certification, 14 and 15 year olds are eligible to use the equipment through our Youth Weight Room Certification Program. Certification Class is held the first Friday of every month at 5:00pm. Registration must be done in person.
