You must attend the first day of class.
Beginner level covers water safety and drowning prevention. Learning to climb in and out safely using the wall and stairs, horizontal and vertical submerge, breath control, floating on back with support, jumping in safely, learning to fall and recover, and the proper use of life jackets.Diaper Policy: Children 3 and under must wear a commercial swim diaper and tight fitting rubber pants regardless. (Swim diapers are available for purchase at the front desk).
Upon completion of Beginner Level. Intermediate Level continues building on the skills learned in the Beginner Level. Swimmers continue to work on improving breath control, submerge through the water independently, learn to roll from their front to their back, kicking and scoop arm movement.
