In collaboration with
Utah State University Salt Lake Extension and participating community partners, Salt Lake County Aging & Adult Services operates the MealsPlus Fresh Produce Program to increase access to fresh food among older adults.
The MealsPlus Program provides a locally-grown, fresh produce option for older adults at Salt Lake County Senior Centers. During growing season, Meals Plus Farm Stands are set up at senior centers, where participants can pick up fresh produce for free.
Want to join the effort? Each Wednesday, June-September, volunteers are needed at the Salt Lake County Government Center in the South Atrium (2100 S. State Street) from 2:30-4:30.
(End time varies based on need.)
