Community Service

Do you need Community Service, we want your help! You will have to schedule your time to come in.  We no longer take walk-in requests for community service hours. Please email animalvolunteer@slco.org, you can expect a response within 72 hours. 

Our Community Service program involves helping keep the shelter clean. This program will not involve direct contact with the animals. Animal Services is located at 511 West 3900 South, and is open Tuesday - Saturday, 10 AM - 6 PM.  

Please be sure to bring the following when coming in:

• Current, valid photo identification
• Court papers that specify the charges and how many hours of community service are mandated. We cannot accept anyone with violent, sexual, or theft charges.
