Candidate #4: Churchill
My name is Churchill and I paw-prove this message:
In this dog eat dog political world I want to bring love, compassion, licks and pawshakes to the wonderful County of Salt Lake.
I want to give back to the community that decided that No Kill Utah was the way of the future. You see, I was once a shelter pup, and due to the hard work of many shelters, rescue organizations and fosters who believe in the No Kill message I was able to be fostered and adopted into a loving home. I now play the important role of foster brother to the many pups that my momma brings home to save their lives, as she saved mine.
I have a lot of determination, as you can tell from my under bite and my namesake - Winston Churchill. Not sure who he was but momma says he looked a lot like me. He once said, "We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give." So I love giving to my community. Not only am I a fabulous foster brother, I am also a therapy dog with Intermountain Therapy Animals. I visit lots of amazing kids at Primary Children's Wasatch Canyons Residential Treatment Center. Sometimes those kids feel scared and alone and I felt that way once too. Thankfully, now we can help each other feel happy.
So that's why I'm running for Mayor - to bring joy and compassion to others in my community and share my story of being rescued. Thank you to Salt Lake County Animal Control for giving me the opportunity to spread my message!
Every dollar raised by Churchill’s campaign will go into the Injured Animal Fund. Help homeless animals heal so they can find a HOME!
