volunteering with Salt Lake County Animal Services in January of this year. Vicki jumped
right into volunteering and has shown dedication and enthusiasm for helping the
animals. She quickly
excelled from a Green Collar dog volunteer to an Orange collar volunteer giving
her the ability to work with more dogs in the facility.
up for our enrichment program for the dogs and comes in every Tuesday and
Thursday to hand out and make “pupcicles”. She has been
doing this for the past 2 months and the dogs look forward to seeing her in the
enrichments she always makes sure to get out dogs for some sunshine and
recently volunteered at our City Creek adoption event and was able to
experience the reward of seeing one of the dogs be adopted and go home with her
new family. She is
always willing to jump in and help and is a wonderful example of what
volunteering is all about.
