Bid Process

All substance use disorder and mental health treatment services for low-income, uninsured and/or underinsured Salt Lake County residents are provided through a public/private provider relationship. Every six years the Division accepts applications for funding from area behavioral health treatment providers. The Division completed a Request for Applications (RFA) to procure these services in March 2022. The resulting contracts will run through June 30, 2029. Medicaid services are handled currently through the Division's contracted Managed Care Organization (MCO)  Optum Health.
