  • 2016 Financial Disclosure Reports Deadlines for County and Local School Board Candidates

    All County and Local School Board candidates who have filed their Declaration of Candidacy for 2016 are governed by Salt Lake County Ordinance, Chapter 2.72A and are required to file financial disclosure reports by 5 p.m. on the schedule below as long as they maintain an open campaign.

    Small Budget Campaign Certificate

    A candidate or campaign committee that does not expect to exceed $2,000.00 in aggregate contributions or $2,000.00 in aggregate expenditures during the course of the campaign may file a Small Budget Campaign CertificateAny candidate wishing to file a Small Budget Campaign Certificate should submit the certificate to the Election Director, Associate Director or designee.

    ADVISORY: If a candidate fails to timely file his/her disclosure report in an election year, Utah law requires either the removal of that candidate's name from the ballot or that votes cast for that candidate not be counted.
