Financial Disclosure information for Metro Townships and Millcreek City

  • 2016 Financial Disclosure Reports Deadlines for Metro Townships and Millcreek City

    All Metro Township and Millcreek City candidates who have filed their Declaration of Candidacy for 2016 are required to file their Financial Disclosure Reports by 5:00 p.m. on the schedule below as long as they maintain an open campaign account.

    Deadlines

    June 21, 2016 For contributions and expenditures through June 16 (seven days before the Primary Election for Candidates on the Primary Election Ballot).
      
     July 28, 2016Final report for Candidates who will not be on the ballots for the General Election.  
      
     November 1, 2016For contributions and expenditures through October 27 (seven days before the General Election for Candidates on the General Election Ballot)
      
     December 8, 2016Final report for candidates who were on the General Election Ballot. 


    Finance Disclosure Reports

    Ordinances

    Metro Township Candidates

    Candidates for Metro Township Councils will file all Financial Disclosure Reports with the Salt Lake County Election Division.  The online filing tool is not available for Metro Township Candidates during this transition year.

    Millcreek City Candidates

    Candidates for Millcreek City Council and Mayor will file all Financial Disclosure Reports with the Salt Lake County Election Division for 2016 only.  The online filing tool is not available for Millcreek candidates during this transition year.

    Starting in 2017, Millcreek Officeholders and Candidates will check with the Millcreek City Recorder’s Office for requirements and deadlines.

    ADVISORYIf a candidate fails to timely file his/her disclosure report in an election year, Utah law requires either the removal of that candidate's name from the ballot or that votes cast for that candidate not be counted.
