Substance Addiction program (ASAP) is a program for defendants charged with
Felony and Class A offenses. The ASAP program is a minimum of nine months, with
a requirement to be drug and alcohol-free for a set amount of time before
Adults in Salt Lake County with Felony charges, no history
of violence, and meet Low-Risk/High-Need criteria can be screened for the ASAP
program. Eligible defendants may be sent to ASAP Court in lieu of as a
sentencing alternative to the traditional justice system.
