Mayor Jenny Wilson and CODA (Council on Diversity Affairs) cordially invite you to the 14th annual Mayor’s Diversity Dinner. The event is free; however, you must register to attend.
Registration to attend the dinner will open September 1.
In addition to sharing a meal, guests will also share their own experiences. Each table of 8 will be carefully chosen to represent people from diverse backgrounds.
A moderator will present thoughtful questions to be discussed by attendees at each table.
Since 2007, the Mayor’s Council on Diversity Affairs has hosted a dinner to celebrate our community’s rich diversity. The goal of the Diversity Dinner is to bring individuals of diverse backgrounds together to promote understanding, increase positive interactions, and build respect for one another as well as celebrate our similarities.
Nominate A Local Hero
As part of the Diversity Dinner, local heroes are selected from the community and recognized for their contributions. If you know of an inspirational person who fosters dialogue, respect, inclusiveness and positive action in our community, nominate them for the Local Hero Award. Please submit nominations by September 15 to email@example.com.
Diversity Dinner Booths
If you are a part of an organization or group that would like to be featured at the Diversity Dinner, sign up for a booth! Booths should represent culture, heritage, traditions, festivals, and celebrations in a positive light. Please submit registration forms by September 15.
