Swim Lesson Levels

Pool hours and options are LIMITED. For the most up-to-date hours and options, check with the center(s) front desk and/or call ahead.

Core Skills Achievement Stages 

Sign Up for If the student
Swim School White
  • Can't swim at all
  • Will not get face wet
Swim School Red
  • Will put face in water comfortably for 5 seconds
  • Will jump in
Swim School Yellow
  • Can float on front and back unassisted
  • Can jump in and return to surface
Swim School Blue
  • Is not afraid
  • Can swim underwater and on the surface and can get an occasional breath
Swim School Green
  • Is not afraid
  • Can tread water for at least 15 seconds
  • Can swim freestyle with rotary (side) breathing

Stroke School:

Has achieved a GREEN starfish swim school award and needs to learn or refine freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly
