Flood Control Permits

Title 17 of the Salt Lake County Code of Ordinances defines the Flood Control Permit Program.

Flood Control Permits are required for any activity occurring within 20 feet of the top of bank of a Flood Control Facility. This includes, but is not limited to:

• installation of structures or bridges
• storm water discharges
• utility line crossings
• bank stabilization
• landscaping
