Sadie May Wellness Coordinator
Sadie May has been a Wellness Coordinator for Salt Lake County Employee Wellness ‘Healthy Lifestyles’ since 2018. With a Masters in Health Promotion and Bachelor’s in Health Education, her mission to empower and enhance lives has taken her all over the world. From building organic coffee farms in Costa Rica, implementing community health programs in Cambodia, and coordinating the worksite wellness program for Salt Lake County, her experience has provided a holistic approach to health. When she is not working, you can catch her dancing at a Zumba class or taking a bike ride on the Jordan River.
Brittany Parry Wellness Coordinator
Brittany Parry is one of the Wellness Coordinators for Healthy Lifestyles. She is a Certified Health Education Specialist with a Bachelors degree in Health Promotion and an emphasis in Education. She loves her job and the opportunity that she has to work with the amazing employees of Salt Lake County. When she is not working, she enjoys creating DIY projects of all kinds and playing fetch with her pups, Millie and Daisy.
Trudie Kesler Program Specialist
Trudie Kesler has been Healthy Lifestyles Program Specialist for two years. She received a Bachelors of Science in Engineering Science from Montana Tech. Her favorite part of the job is getting to know participants, helping them with questions, and directing them to our awesome health educators. When she is not working, you can find her spending time in nature, hiking, working in her garden, traveling to a National Parks and watching wildlife. She also enjoys bowling and playing games with her family.
Jayne Hansen Health Educator
Jayne Hansen earned her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Utah in Health Promotion and Education with an emphasis in Community Health. She is our Meditation Guru and leads the Mindful Monday activities for Healthy Lifestyles. When she is not serving SLCo’s stellar employees, she loves spending time outdoors with her little family, moving her body, painting and playing fetch with her dog named Mando.
Brooke Avei Health Educator
Brooke Avei is a Health Educator with Healthy Lifestyles. She is a Certified Health Education Specialist and graduated with a degree in Public Health with an emphasis in Health Promotion from Brigham Young University. She was born and raised in Hawaii, recently had a baby girl, and is passionate about health education!
Melissa Yates Health Educator
Melissa Yates joined Healthy Lifestyles as a Health Educator in August 2019. She graduated with her Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology with a concentration in Exercise Science and a minor in Psychology from the University of Rhode Island. Melissa also served on active duty in the Air Force for five years as a respiratory therapist. She is currently pursuing a Master of Public Health and Master of Healthcare Administration at the University of Utah and will graduate in May 2022.
