Community members gather for annual “Stand Against Racism” event

Salt Lake County, UT—Salt Lake County Mayor Jenny Wilson will join community members to take a “Stand Against Racism” this Friday, April 26. The event will feature a panel discussion on how and where racism exists today, followed by a pledge that attendees will take promising their commitment to non-discrimination.
“We have made great strides in overcoming racism, but we still have a long way to go. The “Stand Against Racism” event is about bringing people in Salt Lake County together in an effort to unite their voices to educate, advocate, and promote racial justice,” said Mayor Wilson.
Residents are invited to attend the event, enjoy refreshments, and take the “Stand Against Racism” pledge.
