Discover a ‘Rogue World’ at the County Library

SALT LAKE COUNTY, UT — Local author Matthew J. Kirby will visit the Library's Viridian Event Center on July 19 to discuss "Rogue World," the newest installment in his Dark Gravity Sequence series. After the presentation, attendees may enjoy a Q&A session, a book signing, and an "Assassin's Creed" and Dark Gravity Sequence costume contest. Books will be available for purchase at the event from The Printed Garden.
Matthew J. Kirby is the critically acclaimed author of several middle grade novels and has written two books in the "Assassin's Creed" video game universe. He was named a "Publishers Weekly" Flying Start and won the Edgar Award for Best Juvenile Mystery, the PEN Center USA award for Children's Literature and the Judy Lopez Memorial Award. Additionally, Kirby has been named to the New York Public Library's 100 Books for Reading and Sharing and the ALA Best Fiction for Young Adults lists. He works as a school psychologist and currently lives in Utah with his wife and three step-kids.
