SALT LAKE COUNTY, UT – The County Library is offering a series of free workshops on business basics, Business 101. Each monthly workshop will explore a different topic, including how to market your business and how to research franchise opportunities, and will be taught by business owners or members of Salt Lake Score.

"We're excited to have Salt Lake SCORE bring knowledgeable and experienced business owners to the County Library,” says Allyson Roylance, one of the event coordinators. “These workshops will be invaluable in helping future business owners succeed."

The first workshop is scheduled from 6:30-8:30 pm on Thursday, April 13, at the County Library’s West Jordan Branch and will discuss how to write a detailed business plan. A flyer detailing the rest of the workshops is attached.

Business 101 is presented by the County Library in partnership with Salt Lake SCORE, a nonprofit group dedicated to helping small businesses. For more information about this or upcoming Business 101 events, visit and check out our Facebook events.
