SALT LAKE COUNTY, Utah—If something isn’t broken, don’t fix it. If something is broken, do fix it—with the help of volunteer fix-it coaches at the County Library’s Fix-It Clinic.

The public is invited to bring in household items needing repair, along with any specialized replacement parts and tools needed. Coaches will help people repair or repurpose household items like fabric, furniture, jewelry, small appliances, electronics and bicycles. If an item can be fixed and kept out of the landfill, it will be. Some common tools will be provided for on-site use.

What: Fix-It Clinic
When: Saturday, October 6, 11 am-3 pm
Where: Library’s Viridian Event Center, 8030 S 1825 W
