SALT LAKE COUNTY, Utah–Help promote infant health by donating disposable children’s diapers at the County Library during Utah Diaper Bank’s annual Diaper Need Awareness Drive, September 1–30.

“Infants go through a lot of diapers, and we want to do whatever we can to help make a difference in these kids’ and families’ lives,” County Library Director Jim Cooper said. “I’m glad the County Library can assist with this need.”

Diaper Need Awareness Week will take place across the United States from September 23–29, 2019.

The generous donations of County Library users during the 2018 diaper drive resulted in 8,000 diapers for children and families across Utah. These donated diapers help reduce the risk of disease and neglect, and help alleviate financial and emotional stress often experienced by parents and caregivers.

Individuals, families and businesses interested in donating may take disposable children’s diapers to any of the County Library’s 16 open branches anytime during regular hours in September.
