SALT LAKE COUNTY, Utah–Are your kids curious about science and art? Little learners and their families are invited to build and explore, with hands-on play and interactive experiments, at the County Library’s second-annual Get Curious event.

“Little ones are naturally curious and we’re excited to provide them with a unique and fun opportunity to explore and engage their curiosity,” Librarian Susan Spicer said, “We also want parents to experience that kid-in-a-candy-store feeling while they rediscover all the cool things they love about science and learning.”

Get Curious activities are STEM based and will feature dinosaurs, bubbles and animals. Little learners and their families will get to paint with magical milk, create a dinosaur ecosystem, play with water beads and a sticky wall, and explore a maze of animal-habitat type tunnels.

This event is free and open to the public. For information on this and other library events and exhibits, visit

When: Saturday, March 16, 10am-Noon
Where: Library’s Viridian Event Center, 8030 S 1825 W
