Not a Perfect Parent? Authors Teach Why That’s OK at the County Library

SALT LAKE COUNTY, Utah–Striving to be the perfect parent is a tall task. The County Library is bringing in a pair of authors to help.

Clint Edwards, author of I’m Sorry... Love, Your Husband: Honest, Hilarious Stories From a Father of Three Who Made All the Mistakes (and Made Up for Them), and Meredith Ethington, author of Mom Life: Perfection Pending and the popular blog Perfection Pending, will talk about parenting and the perception of perfection.

“Personally, I’m looking forward to some of the hilarious things they can share about accidental parenting with all the trials and foibles they went through,” Librarian Liesl Seborg said. “It’s going to be all about real-life parenting—parenting for the regular people.”

Edwards’ title was also a Reader’s Choice nominee in January 2019 at the County Library.

The event is part of a series on parenting at the County Library’s Taylorsville branch, where a monthly Parenting Book Club is also hosted. For more amazing library events and programs, visit our calendar.

Books will be available for purchase onsite from The Printed Garden.
