Immigrants And Refugees Share Their Stories at the County Library

SALT LAKE COUNTY, UT — In the spirit of United We Read SLC, and in support of New Americans, a guest panel of youth and adults will share their experiences of coming to the United States at the County Library’s Columbus branch on April 26.
The guest panel will feature immigrants and refugees from around the world, to include Germany, Thailand, Ethiopia, Mexico, Somalia and the Republic of Congo. These inspiring firsthand accounts will be followed by a Q&A session. Informational handouts on immigration and refugee processes will be available.
