Celebrating 75 years of people, parks & play!
Salt Lake County Parks and Recreation was formed back in May 1946 by community-minded citizens who wanted to coordinate recreation activities throughout the County, build more park space, trails infrastructure, and manage the rapid growth of recreation programs for the benefit of residents.
75 years on, we continue to strive to fulfill our mission of improving lives through people, parks & play. Join us to celebrate this milestone with fun commemorative activities this summer & fall!
