Dog Park Concept Planning Open Houses

Salt Lake County Parks and Recreation is hosting three open houses to present concept plans for three regional-scale dog parks in the county. After completing the dog park site selection process in 2018, three sites were selected to move forward with concept plan development: Wardle Fields Regional Park (Bluffdale), Lodestone Regional Park (Kearns), and the future Magna Regional Park (Magna).  The public is encouraged to examine the site plans for each five-to-ten acre dog park and provide feedback.

“These facilities are designed to integrate well with the rest of our parks while providing an enhanced experience for both the dog owner and their furry friends,” said Salt Lake County Parks and Recreation Division Director, Martin Jensen.

Residents are encouraged to drop in at any date or location below to provide input and learn more about these regional-scale dog parks. Those who are unable to attend an open house can access all project information and provide feedback online or via email at .
