Salt Lake County and Secret Celebrity Renovation Celebrate Nathan Chen Renovations at Salt Lake City Sports Complex will enhance experiences for other skaters

Salt Lake City, UT – Salt Lake County Parks and Recreation is excited to partner with Secret Celebrity Renovation to reveal renovations at Salt Lake City Sports Complex that were inspired by Olympian Nathan Chen and his figure skating experiences at the facility.

Chen’s love for figure skating began as a three-year-old, when he participated in a Salt Lake County learn-to-skate program at the Salt Lake City Sports Complex. Through this program and other skating lessons taught at the Sports Complex, Chen excelled in the sport, fostered many great relationships, achieved multiple wins, and has made millions of Americans proud.

The public reveal of the renovation takes place on June 14 and will include a Q&A with Chen, as well as a proclamation from Salt Lake County. Immediately following the event, everyone is invited to enjoy 2-for-1skating (rentals not included).
