Master Plans in Progress

Every ten years, the Salt Lake County Parks & Recreation Countywide Recreation Facilities Master Plan is updated. Several amenity-specific master plans are also updated at the ten-year mark because they inform the countywide plan. The last Countywide Recreation Facilities Master Plan was updated in 2015.

Master plan concept(s) reflect Salt Lake County Parks and Recreation and regional priorities, as well as city and community interests.
