Regional Trails Master Planning

Regional Trails Master Planning

Project Overview

Salt Lake County Parks & Recreation is in the process of updating the countywide Regional Trails Master Plan.  The project involves collecting trail data from all municipalities within Salt Lake County and agencies such as the Utah Department of Transportation, U.S. Forest Service, Utah Transit Authority, and Wasatch Front Regional Council.  The purpose is to inventory and identify all existing and planned regional trails in the valley.  In addition, gaps within the trail network are to be clearly identified so a strategy and implementation plan can be created to complete connections throughout the county.
