Youth Ski and Snowboard

Get outside and enjoy the greatest snow on earth!  Salt Lake County Parks & Recreation ski and snowboard programs connect residents to the slopes with after-school lessons for youth and a discounted lift opportunity for all ages.  

Never Ever

2nd-5th Grade
Skill Level: No ski or snowboarding experience

Never Ever is a new program available on Friday afternoons at Snowbird for 2nd-5th grade students that have never skied or snowboarded before.  Program includes: 3 lessons from Snowbird instructors, lift access, and transportation from designated schools near the following recreation centers.  

Youth Ski & Snowboard 

3rd-6th Grade
Skill Level: Any (Never Ever and up)
Lessons are tailored to skill levels

This traditional program is offered on Friday afternoons at Brighton Resort and Snowbird.  Program includes: 6 lessons from ski resort instructors, lift access, and transportation from designated schools near the following recreation centers.  

Snow Blitz

6th-12th Grade
Skill Level: Any 
Lessons are tailored to skill levels

Snow Blitz is a weeknight program offered for middle school and high school students at Brighton Resort. Program includes: 4 lessons from Brighton instructors, lift access, and transportation to the resort from designated schools throughout the valley.

Discount program

Thursday Night Lights at Brighton Resort is a program designed to motivate the community to stay active during the winter season with skiing and snowboarding. Everyone of all abilities are able to receive discounted lift tickets, lessons from Brighton instructors, and rentals on select Thursday nights throughout the season.  Learn more about current season dates and information.
