Active Transportation Implementation Plan (ATIP)
Plan Overview | Countywide Bike Plan Map | Maps by Community
Salt Lake County continues to make strides in improving bicycle safety and designing a connected bicycle network that will provide more transportation options for residents and contribute to better air quality.
Salt Lake County's Active Transportation Implementation Plan builds upon previous planning efforts conducted by the county, individual cities, and regional partners such as Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) and Utah Transit Authority (UTA).
The purpose of this plan is to identify and prioritize specific routes and spot improvements throughout the valley that contribute to safe connections between cities, townships, neighborhoods, schools, commercial centers, transit, parks, and regional off-street paths, such as the Jordan River Parkway.
