What is Rally the Valley?

Rally the Valley promotional video

When we rally together we can achieve more than we can alone. Rally the Valley is a 20-day initiative that spans two landmark holidays - July 4th and July 24th.  We look to the past to be inspired by those who have served our country and settled this valley. By sharing our best stories about goodness, ingenuity, and hard work we can connect with one another, inspire others to contribute, and continue to sacrifice for the continued health and safety of our community.

Host a Front Porch Concert

Award-winning musician Kurt Bestor has challenged valley residents to share their musical talents by hosting front port concerts.  By hosting your own front porch concert, you can #RallytheValley2020 and encourage your neighbors to listen and enjoy your performance from their front porch.

Sidewalk Chalk Art

Create Your Own Piece of Public Art

Art is all around us and the valley’s County, municipalities and museums have amazing collections.  Get inspired to #RallytheValley2020 and create your own masterpiece with a sidewalk chalk mural right on your front sidewalk.

Share the Place Where You Are From

For generations, residents have come here to make this place home.  Whether it is from another neighborhood in Utah or from across the globe, the valley is rich in diversity.  Remembering where we come from is an important part of uniting our community.  #RallytheValley2020 by telling a story on your social media channel about the first place you remember living.  How is it different or the same than living in the Salt Lake Valley?
