Currently, we are only accepting credit/debit cards or checks. There is a 3% service charge for all credit/debit card transactions.

COVID 19 Information

Facial coverings are required for the public coming into the office. If you come into the office without wearing a facial covering, one will be provided for you.

Under the Mayor's order issued on Sunday, March 29th, the Recorder's Office is classified as an "essential service." Our E-Files are being processed as usual.

COVID 19 UPDATE: Beginning Tuesday March 24, 2020, The Salt Lake County Recorder's Office lobby will be closed. During this time, public spaces are restricted. In order to ensure the public’s safety, the Recorder’s Office is only serving in person non-symptomatic individuals. We have hand sanitizer available at all of our recording stations, and ask that you use it prior to handing documents to employees. Thank you for your assistance in protecting fellow customers and our employees.
