Moderate Income Housing Plan

The Salt Lake County Office of Regional Development is the the process of creating a Moderate Income Housing Plan. This plan is specifically for Unincorporated Salt Lake County (areas of the county not located within existing municipalities).

Moderate income housing means residences that are occupied or reserved for occupancy by households with a gross household income equal to or less than 80% of the Area Median Income (AMI).

The goal and responsibility of this plan is to:

  • Identify current housing conditions
  • Select a minimum of 3 strategies outlined in SB-34 of the Utah State Legislature.
