Salt Lake County is dedicated to reducing the County’s internal environmental footprint across all sectors including reduction efforts within the five pillars of Salt Lake County’s sustainability: air, water, waste and recycling, land, and energy. In addition to addressing internal governmental operations, the Environmental Programs Division is committed to addressing environmental justice in historically underserved communities by maintaining collaborative partnerships with organizations throughout the County.
