Jail Processing

The Processing Team is responsible for the booking, releasing and classification of all individuals who are brought to the Salt Lake County Metro Jail. They are also responsible for Prisoner Disciplinary Board, Video Arraignment, Prisoner Relocation Program and Prisoner Laundry

While in custody, team members work very closely with the various courts around the state to keep detailed records of each individuals court proceedings to insure the standing orders of the courts are adhered to.

Team Members are also charged with overseeing the disciplinary process of prisoners who have violate jail rules and regulations.
