Inmate Health Services

Yes, this means that in order to receive any information regarding a prisoner’s health care; the prisoner must sign a release authorizing us to do so.

Anyone entering the facility having verifiable medications will be evaluated by a member of the clinical staff regarding their medication therapy while incarcerated. Any medication provided through prescription in the jail must be done by a member of the jail’s clinical staff.

Any medication brought to the facility by an outside party will be used for verification purposes only. Any and all medication prescribed within the facility must be done so by the jail’s clinical staff.

Once prescribed by a member of the clinical staff, medication can take between 24 to 72 hours to receive. Critical medication can be started more rapidly, however that is at the discretion of the clinical staff.

There is a fully staffed mental health and medical program functioning within the facility. Anyone entering the facility reporting a history of health disorders and/or treatment will be evaluated by a healthcare professional.

There are members of the health services staff working within the facility 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Anyone requesting immediate medical or mental health intervention, or "crisis" has access to health services staff at any time
