Ice Skating Levels

Snow Plow Sam 1-3

Snowplow Sam classes are for students ages 3-5.  Upon completions of Snowplow Sam, students should advance to Basic Skills classes.

Basic Skills 1-6

Basic Skills classes are for students ages 6-16.  If a student has never taken a lesson before and is 6 or older, start in Basic Skills 1.  These classes will teach the fundamentals of skating.

Adult Skills 1-3

Adult classes are for participants ages 17 and up.  If you have never skated or it has been a few years, start with Adult 1. 

Freeskate Skills 1-6

Freeskate classes are for students ages 6 and up that have completed Basic 6 and are looking for more performance based training.

Learn to Skate for Hockey 1-3 and Power Skating

Learn to Skate for Hockey is for students ages 4 and up that are interested in Hockey.  If children are ages 3-5, they should complete Snowplow 3 before registering for hockey.  Upon completion of Hockey 4, they should then make the transition into Learn to PLAY Hockey.

Synchronized Skating 1-3

Synchronized Skating is a great way to introduce synchronized skating to skaters already taking group lessons.  It is recommended that skaters have successfully passed Basic Skills 3 prior to working on Synchro 1.
