The Salt Lake County Flood Control & Engineering Division hosted the second annual Salt Lake Countywide Watershed Symposium on October 28 and 29, 2008 at the Salt Lake Community College Miller Campus (9750 South 300 West).
Who Attended
The 2008 Watershed Symposium was attended by approximately 300 people from various backgrounds. From water supply and wastewater experts to interested citizens and activist groups, we are delighted at the expertise and interest that was represented by the Symposium participants.
What was Discussed
Many important issues were discussed at the 2008 Watershed Symposium - both during sessions and as informal chats. With a primary goal of fostering conversation about water quality issues in Salt Lake County, we are pleased with the dialogue that occurred at this year's Symposium. Thanks to everyone who participated!
