As a thank you for the incredible support Salt Lake County taxpayers provide through the Zoo Arts and Parks program, the Natural History Museum of Utah is pleased to offer families the opportunity to visit NHMU at no cost this summer. A limited number of reservations are available – each reservation is good for up to 6 complimentary tickets. Reservations are available on a first come-first served basis starting June 6 (reservations will be available until all are reserved; tickets must be used by Sept. 2). Fort Douglass Military Museum

The museum, originally a 19th century barracks, includes various exhibits on the history of Utah and adjacent western states. The museum also includes an outdoor Cannon and Military Vehicle Park

Walk through a water pipe, learn how to make compost or identify native plants at Conservation Garden Park! With more than 6-acres of exhibits, pathways and Utah-friendly plants, Conservation Garden Park is Salt Lake County’s premier destination for learning about Utah’s unique climate and the role each of us can play in protecting our water supply.
Attendance Instructions: The Garden is open Monday through Saturday between 8 am and 8 pm (closed July 4th and 24th).
COVID Precautions: The Garden includes outdoor exhibits that allow for social distancing.
