What to Expect: Event Logistics

  • You will be provided a list of clients. You will contact the client by phone once you have reviewed their criminal history and done a preliminary analysis regarding their eligibility.

All the resources you will need to assist clients can be found through this link.  If this your first time providing expungement assistance, all these resources can feel overwhelming.    Know that there will be real time, live expert support (both for legal questions and tech support) throughout the entire event through WebEx Teams.

Note:  You can access WebEx Teams through this web link.  However, we highly recommend you download the Webex Teams Desktop application to optimize your experience.

On the day of the event, this is the order of events:

    • CLE via a Webex Events Seminar
    • Attorneys will then Log-in to WebEx Teams – within that platform attorneys will be connected to “spaces” – an expert space where attorneys can ask questions/ get help, and a “courtroom” space where participating court jurisdictions, and support staff, can hear and make rulings on 402 motions to reduce the severity of certain offenses
    • Attorneys will then begin assisting assigned clients
