Get an Assessment & Referral for Treatment

The purpose of the assessment is to gather information on the person's functioning and strengths in all areas of his or her life. Based on the findings during the assessment, and with your (the client's) input, a recommendation for treatment is made.

Substance use disorder assessments and referrals are provided by professional clinical staff. Community partners such as juvenile and adult courts, schools, hospitals, shelters, private citizens, corrections staff, attorneys, social service providers, and other County agencies refer individuals to the Division for substance use disorder evaluations, as a vehicle to match clients with the appropriate level of intervention. Program staff are available for clinical consultation and inquiries from the public on issues relating to substance use disorder.
