Data Coordinators

Data Coordinators are at the forefront of supporting and implementing data governance at Salt Lake County. They work with the Data Gov Working Group to establish procedures for responsible data management and governance. The Data Governance Working Group will provide guidance and training to Data Coordinators.



Data Coordinators Roles & Responsibilities

  • Act as single Point of Contact for Data Gov Working Group
  • Serve as a liaison with the Data Gov Working Group on issues related to data gov.
  • Attend trainings & workshops on data management
  • Assist with Application(s) inventory
  • Assist with dataset(s) inventory
  • Assist with implementing privacy, data licensing, metadata and other standards and practices
  • Provide feedback regarding data management initiatives to Data Gov Working Group
