SNAP / Food Stamps

SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program), also known as Food Stamps, gives Utahns with a low-income help to buy food by using an electronic benefits transfer (EBT) card known as the Horizon Card.

This calculator provides an estimate of SNAP benefits that you may qualify for. Your benefits may end up being slightly more or less.

Use SNAP at Farmers' Markets

SNAP can be used at many farmers markets and farm stands in Utah. Many farmers markets participate in Double Up Food Bucks, where you can get up to $30 of free fruits and vegetables when using your SNAP benefits at the participating farmers markets.
