Permits
Permits are not transferable; when a change of ownership occurs at a permitted facility, the new owner must apply for a new permit and pay all applicable fees.
Food establishments the health department regulates include:
- Restaurants
- Delis (including those within grocery stores)
- Cafés (including those within retail stores)
- Mobile food units (trucks, carts, and trailers
- Cafeterias (that are open to the public)
- Caterers
- Concession stands
- Convenience stores that serve food
- Temporary food booths at events and festivals
- Various other businesses and organizations that engage in food preparation and service
