Apply for a Noise Permit

Temporary noise permits are $175 and must be obtained at least 10 days before the noise begins. Applications received less than 10 days in advance are subject to a $55 late fee.

Temporary noise permits are valid only at the location stated on the application and only for the length of time approved by the department.

To apply for a temporary noise permit, submit:

  • a fully completed Temporary Noise Permit application
  • the required fee
  • a copy of the 48-hour written notice to be distributed to dwellings and facilities within 800 feet of the project
