The Midvale Senior Center is a joint effort between the City of Midvale and Salt Lake County Aging & Adult Services.
The city provides the land and the van, and Salt Lake County Aging & Adult Services provides the operating staff. The numerous activities supported by this center are staffed by countless volunteers.
Advisory committee members elected from center participants to support Aging & Adult Services by providing programming opportunities, entertainment, and socialization to enrich the lives of participants.
Do you have a hobby, skill, or talent you’d like to share? Volunteering is the “life blood” of the Senior Center. Volunteers play a critical role in delivering quality programming as well as providing options for fit, active and engaged seniors. The Center has a wide variety of opportunities for all ages to volunteer time and talents. As the gap between available resources and the needs of seniors continues to grow, Salt Lake County Aging & Adult Services believes the role of volunteering is important and we are always looking to add new programs at the Center. To find the volunteer opportunity that best suits your needs, skills, and time availability, simply talk to the staff.

There is a workout room with a weight machine and several stationary exercise machines.
