Clark Planetarium exhibits are always free. Various shows are offered in the Dome and IMAX Theatre, please check the schedule to see if a show is appropriate for your child.
Enjoy Clark Planetarium’s free, hands-on, interactive exhibits while discovering interesting facts about space along the way. What is the hottest planet in our solar system? How much would you weigh on another world? What creates an aurora? How big is the Nantan meteorite on display? Answer these questions as you explore the exhibits and discover new ways to understand our world, the solar system, and beyond.
On June 15, July 15, and August 15, Clark Planetarium will offer passport holders discounted $5 tickets to any IMAX or Dome movie. (Note: Discounted IMAX and Dome tickets are only available on the three specific days to those with a Summer Passport).

Conservation Garden Park is a waterwise botanical garden located in West Jordan. The garden includes over 9 acres of exhibits to explore. Families can play with a large chess set, walk through a huge water pipe, and learn about water conservation.

Red Butte Garden is one of the largest botanical gardens in the Intermountain West and together with the University of Utah, is the State Arboretum of Utah. We are located on 100 acres in the foothills on the eastern edge of the University of Utah campus. The Garden has welcomed guests since 1985 and consists of over 21 acres of developed gardens and five miles of hiking trails winding through an extensive Natural Area. The Garden; which is community-funded; is renowned for its numerous plant collections, display gardens, 560,000 springtime blooming bulbs; including a vast collection of daffodils; gorgeous private event spaces, a world-class outdoor concert series, and award-winning horticulture-based educational programs.

Our Book Buddies Program is for kids to read to cats and kittens at our Shelter. They can socialize with the adoptable cats and kittens while reading. We are located at 511 W 3900 S. No appointment needed. Come in Tuesday – Saturday from 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM. Bring your own book or we have books available in our Cattery. Follow the yellow doors into our Cattery. Log reading minutes on the form located inside the Cattery. You can go into any Colony Room or read to a cat that is in a kennel. An adult must be present.
This program allows children to help animals, as the sound of reading can help calm the cats.

Enjoy interactive bird shows, keeper demonstrations, roaming animal encounters, and over a dozen nature play opportunities while you explore 8 acres of themed exhibits and botanical gardens.

Discounted. Present your ZAP Kids Summer Passport for $5 off children's general admission. Restrictions: applicable for up to five children (ages 3-12) from the same household. Tickets must be purchased in person at the ticket window and include at least one paying adult. Children 2 and younger are always free at Utah's Hogle Zoo. Not valid for special event admission tickets.
