Vendor Opportunities

We provide several indoor and opportunities throughout the year when local vendors can sell their products to our guests. Participation at each event requires an application and approval.

Resources

Wheeler Sunday Market

Vendor applications for each calendar year open in December and close mid-February. There is a non-refundable application fee of $35 and applications must be fully completed for consideration.

How it works:

  • Complete your application and email it to wheelermarket@slco.org or bring it to the Activity Barn, Monday–Saturday, 9 am–5 pm.
    • A link to pay the application fee online will be sent to email applicants.
    • Payment can be paid at the Activity Barn for applications submitted in person.
  • Committee reviews eligible applications, selects the vendors, and notifies applicants of status.
    • Selected vendors will be sent a contract for the season.

Vendors selling only fresh, raw, whole, unprocessed, and unprepared food items directly to the final consumer (fruits, vegetables, grains, and eggs).

If you also sell processed foods, the Processed Food Vendor Application must be completed.

Vendors selling processed or packaged foods, not for immediate consumption at the market. This includes jams, jellies, salsas, hummus, juice, yogurt, etc.

Note: Applicable Salt Lake County Health Department and Utah Department of Agriculture and Food permits and licenses are required.

Vendors selling handcrafted items. Items that are created from commercially available plans, kits, or cast from commercial molds will not be considered.

Vendors who operate a food truck or a concession stand providing food that is intended for immediate consumption.

Wheeler Holiday Market

Our annual Holiday Market is a 2.5-day event that attracts approximately 4,000 visitors (total) and is held annually the weekend after Thanksgiving.

  • Friday, November 24, 5 pm-8 PM
  • Saturday, November 25, 9 AM-5 PM
  • Sunday, November 26, 9 AM – 5 PM

Winter Market

Love the Sunday Market? Great news: the indoor Window Market is another way to sell your wares. This year it is every Sunday, January 7 - March 24.

Application Deadline: December 1, 2023

Applicant notification (acceptance or rejection) occurs one to two weeks after the deadline.

Easter Dog Bone Hunt

The Easter Dog Bone Hunt is an annual event held each April, typically the Thursday before Easter.

In lieu of payment for participation, vendors are required to donate 350 items for the goodie bags. Items must be universal to breed, size, and gender.

Farm Fest

Spring has arrived! Visit the baby animals, watch the sheep being sheered, and visit the vendors' preview of the Wheeler Sunday Market.

Location: Wheeler Farm Central Lawn

Mother's Day Gift Boutique

The annual Mother’s Day Boutique takes place in the first part of May from 10 am-2 pm. Vendors are encouraged to package products as gifts for mothers.
